What is Waklert 150 mg?
Waklert is a mental stimulant, just like Ritalin and Adderall. It contains two active components, including modafinil, which may work together to enhance dopamine and norepinephrine levels in the brain. Waklert 150 mg is commonly used for people with excessive sleepiness caused by narcolepsy or shift work sleep disorder (SWSD).
What are the potential downsides of using Waklert?
Waklert is generally well tolerated, with just minor side effects. You should not take Waklert 150mg if you have a history of drug or alcohol addiction, hypertension, or heart difficulties. Waklert 150 mg IV is also not advised (intravenously). The most prevalent adverse effects of Waklert are:
- Tiredness
- Headache
- Nausea and diarrhea cause intestinal distress.
- Restlessness
- If you become pregnant while using Waklert 150mg, you and your doctor should discuss the risks and advantages of continuing medication.
If you are a woman of reproductive age, you should use an effective form of birth control (contraception) while taking Waklert 150mg and for at least one month following. This drug should be avoided if you are breastfeeding due to the risk to the nursing infant.
